The Picture Worth A Thousand Words

If a picture could speak a thousand words... this is what this one would say:
Grandma got up at 4:30am with Grandpa as he prepared to go golfing with son #1 {Brian} & #2 {Shane} and left the house... Grandma quickly got busy cleaning and doing somethings that can only be done when the MAN {Greg} is out of the house! {You know you take a day off work to get ahead of the mess}...

To the basement to wash the quilt, back down to the basement to wash the sheets and that's when I notice W A T E R in Connor's room A G A I N {it happened a few years ago, only that time it was EVERYWHERE... ankle deep on both sides of the basement!!!}... walk in and realize that it's throughout 1/2 the basement and then there is the REAL Tsunami {of tears} again... seeking out the source I find that this time it's the water heater that let loose!!

I didn't want to ruin the sacred time the "boys" were having up at Wolf Creek Golf Course on their once a year sacred time... so I called Brandon at work and he said he'd see if Caitlin could help. She comes to help bringing "Mr. H" {face legally obscured because he is in foster care with Caitlin & Brandon and his face cannot be shown}... spent the morning cleaning up the mess in the basement and took them to The Trolley, a restaurant here in Springville that has an old train car as part of the eating experience... then back home to begin shredding what was left of some papers extracted from the mess downstairs.

"Mr. H" helped every step of the way, as did Caitlin!!! I'm not sure why they love me... but they served me today!!

When Grandpa got home, he got hit with the "news", but Shane was with him and offered to drive to purchase the new water heater in his new truck...

Then Caitlin offers to feed us T-Bone's for dinner after Brandon got off work and came to install the new water heater.
Brandon began the installation of the new water heater... which took about 3 hours with "Mr. H" was helping him!  That kid "worked" all day! Dinner was after 9pm, and we were all very tired.

And again grandma gets to "brag" that her babies still want to help, care for and feed us!! And to our eternal gratefulness we have some amazing daughters-in-law too!!! Gosh they are even the best of friends! And the "littles" are icing on the cake.

At this point I haven't gotten to "one thousand words" because you are bored reading this... but I don't care, it's for my therapy and I need my babies... all 10 of them including the girlies and the littles... to know I am grateful for all the help, love and support that you give to us Old Folks... Grandpa and I are more than grateful and that's why this picture is truly worth a thousand words!!!
